Gunther Premier™ Plus Mirror Mastic is a high-quality, urethane based adhesive formulated to provide a strong, permanent bond between electro-copper-plated glass mirror or acrylic mirror and various substrates (use Cat. No. GN8 Gunther Prime-N-Seal Primer on all porous substrates), including CRL Brand Category II Safety Tape. It is a very versatile product that is ideal for high-traffic areas, such as gyms, dance studios, and commercial projects. It holds firm, yet absorbs movement, vibrations, and allows for thermal expansion and contraction. It can be built out to 2" (51 mm) for large mirrors or uneven wall jobs, or compressed to 1/16" (1.6 mm) for mirror installations requiring close tolerances, such as overlays, mirrored furniture, and medicine cabinets. Mechanical support systems are recommended for all mirror applications. This product also qualifies for the LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Building Rating System™ credit.
